Dear Cedarbrae Families,
We hope everyone had a wonderful March Break with those who matter most. We are looking forward to an exciting next few months and continued success with our students for the remainder of the year.
Our grade one/two students are gearing up for a week of learning at the Arts Commons as part of the Campus Calgary Open Minds Program and will be busy preparing for this over the next few weeks. Mrs. Hutchen’s and Mrs. Yellowaga’s classes each had visits from visual and dance artists before the break, and these visits will continue over the next few weeks. In addition to this, the whole school will start preparing for our upcoming residency with Trickster beginning the last week of May.
Casino Update
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our School Council members and all the volunteers that made this year's casino possible. This amazing fundraising event provided our school with $80,843.73 in funds that go directly towards things such as low-cost field trips, artists in residences, inline skating, books, technology, and classroom materials. These contributions make an enormous difference to our school community, and we are so grateful to the School Council members for all their tremendous work to make these learning opportunities possible for our amazing students and families.
Before and After School Care Registration Begins Today

2024 –2025 Kindergarten and Grade 1-6 Registration
We are already looking ahead to the 2024- 2025 school year and making plans to support our school community. If you have a child who will be attending Kindergarten or will be new to grade 1-6 in the upcoming school year and have not had a chance to register yet, please do so on the school engagement website below. If you know someone looking to register their child in K-6, please direct them to the school, and we can support the registration process for the upcoming school year. We are so proud of our school community and look forward to welcoming new families for the upcoming school year.
