Dear Cedarbrae Families
We hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day weekend enjoying the return of warm weather with the mothers and special people in your lives!
Last week was a wonderful week at Cedarbrae school! Mrs. Larsen's class had an in-school field trip with Teachers Pet and enjoyed learning about the earth's hidden secrets. Mrs. Hutchen’s and Mrs. Yellowaga’s classes finished up their weeklong field trips to the Arts Commons working alongside a number of local artists to deepen their understanding of curriculum across subjects. The grade 5/6 students have been busy creating flutes and working on the final additions to their designs with Mrs. Goodridge. Thank you to our teachers for organizing these experiences and all the amazing parent volunteers who helped make it possible.
All classrooms have been working with their teachers to brainstorm ideas for the theme each class will use for our residency with Trickster Theater at the end of May. We are so excited to see these ideas come alive on stage!
URGENT Trickster Volunteers Needed
We require many more additional volunteers to support this amazing experience and have created a sign-up genius where volunteers can sign-up for different roles as part of the residency. If you do not currently have volunteer clearance, please see, or call us at the front office to support this process. There are some roles helping unload equipment etc., that do not require volunteer clearance for those interested.

2024 –2025 Kindergarten and Grade 1-6 Registration
We are already looking ahead to the 2024- 2025 school year and making plans to support our school community. If you know someone looking to register their child in K-6, please direct them to the school, and we can support the registration process for the upcoming school year. We are so proud of our school community and look forward to welcoming new families for the upcoming school year.
