Dear Cedarbrae Families
We hope everyone had a pleasant weekend enjoying the great weather. It will cool down this week, so please ensure your child is dressed for the weather and snow due to arrive on Wednesday.
We are excited to recognize the Spring Equinox tomorrow. All classes will be participating in Indigenous games and teaching related to the Spring Equinox in the gym tomorrow. We are also looking forward to many upcoming land-based learning opportunities to recognize the signs of Spring and to complete curriculum-based learning outside.
I sent an earlier message about an exciting announcement that Cedarbrae School will now be offering childcare before and after school to families. We are extremely excited that we can now offer this opportunity to our school community through Adventures Childcare. Registration will begin April 2. There will be an information table at parent conferences for you to meet the providers and ask questions.
School Conferences Please Register
We are excited to welcome caregivers into the school on Thursday March 22 (evening) and Friday March 23 (AM) for parent teacher conferences. Teachers have been busy getting ready to share our students' learning and speak with you about their learning goals and progress to date. The conference booking system is now open, and all conferences will be in person.
Please book your time using your MyCBE app.
2024 –2025 Kindergarten and Grade 1-6 Registration
We are already looking ahead to the 2024- 2025 school year and making plans to support our school community. If you have a child who will be attending Kindergarten or will be new to grade 1-6 in the upcoming school year and have not had a chance to register yet, please do so on the school engagement website below. If you know someone looking to register their child in K-6, please direct them to the school, and we can support the registration process for the upcoming school year. We are so proud of our school community and look forward to welcoming new families for the upcoming school year.
If you will not be attending next year due to moving out of the area etc., please let the school know by replying to this email or calling the office.
