Dear Cedarbrae Families
We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend “springing ahead” and enjoying the beautiful weather. Last week at Cedarbrae we had a full week of learning and enjoyed seeing all the crazy hats and hair on Thursday for our Spirit Day. Thankfully, students got a chance to go outside for recess and enjoy the fresh air and time outside.
As part of our school commitment to land-based learning Teachers have also been taking students outside for learning activities. Last week Ms. Erven’s class went outside for Math class to learn about geometry concepts. We are looking forward to more land-based learning to observe the sign of Spring and our upcoming whole school field trip to Weaselhead on June 4. Please stay tuned for more details.
School Conferences
We are excited to welcome caregivers into the school on Thursday March 22 (evening) and Friday March 23 (AM) for parent teacher conferences. Teachers have been busy getting ready to share our students' learning and speak with you about their learning goals and progress to date. The conference booking system is now open, and all conferences will be in person.
Please book your time using your MyCBE.
2024 –2025 Kindergarten and Grade 1-6 Registration
We are already looking ahead to the 2024- 2025 school year and making plans to support our school community. If you have a child who will be attending Kindergarten or will be new to grade 1-6 in the upcoming school year and have not had a chance to register yet, please do so on the school engage website below. If you know someone looking to register their child in K-6, please direct them to the school, and we can support the registration process for the upcoming school year. We are so proud of our school community and look forward to welcoming new families for the upcoming school year.
