Weekly Message Dec. 18-22 | Cedarbrae Clothing, Bus Zone Changes, Fun Lunches, Spirit Days
Hello Cedarbrae Families,
We hope you all had a wonderful weekend! December is here and we are excited for a month filled with continued learning and special events to highlight learning outcomes related to the season.
Mrs. Goodridge sent out a school messenger about the Winter Celebration yesterday, and we look forward to hearing back from families through an RSVP. We are so excited to gather as a school community for this event and to have more events like this for our students and families. Some upcoming events include the 2nd annual Family of Schools Round Dance, and we are also excited to announce that we will be having an evening performance as part of our Trickster Theater Artist in Residency in May!
Cedarbrae Clothing / Merchandise Store
Cedarbrae School has launched a new Online Store where you can purchase clothing and other merchandise with our school logo. All items will be delivered to the school. If you are considering purchasing items as Christmas gifts, the last day to order to ensure delivery before Winter Break is December 8th.

Bus Zone Changes
Due to a recent traffic review by the city of Calgary the bus, pick-up, and drop-off zones in front of Cedarbrae School are being rezoned by the city of Calgary and CBE (Calgary Board of Education) (Calgary Board of Education) transportation. This change aligns with current traffic laws in the city and supports student safety. In addition to this, there are more buses expected at Cedarbrae school next year because of the new transportation guidelines set by Alberta Education and we anticipate needing room for one more bus. In the next couple of weeks, the city will be replacing the signage outside the school and once the new signs are in place the new zoning will be in place. As a school community, we want to make sure you are informed of this change in advance and appreciate your support as we adjust to the new zoning. School staff will be present to support this and look forward to the continued safety for our students during the busy pick-up and drop of time.
