Dear Cedarbrae Families
We hope you all enjoyed the beautiful weather this past weekend. It has been a wonderful start to the school year, and the past few weeks at Cedarbrae School have been filled with learning, laughter, and connection.
Truth and Reconciliation Week
This week, Cedarbrae teachers are guiding students through daily activities to support our shared commitment to Truth and Reconciliation. These opportunities invite students to reflect, learn, and grow in their understanding of Indigenous histories and perspectives. On Thursday, our school will come together for a mini round dance.
Orange Shirt Day | Friday, September 26
On Friday, we will recognize Orange Shirt Day. This day reminds us that every child matters and helps us think about kindness, respect, and caring for one another. We encourage all students and staff to wear orange all week or on Friday to show their support and stand together as a school community.
Terry Fox Run
This year marks the 45th anniversary of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope, and our school is proud to take part and help finish It! Ms. Joyces class will be collecting Toonies for Terry each day and we also welcome you to support our fundraising efforts and donate to
