Dear Cedarbrae Families
We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend enjoying the beautiful weather. Unfortunately, the cooler temperatures and snow have returned. Please make sure your child dresses appropriately for the weather and has outdoor boots, jacket, hat, and gloves or mitts. The snow is wet this time of year and when it warms up there are puddles on the playground.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
All parent-teacher conferences have been moved online this year to accommodate for the labour action. Please login into your child's MyCBE account to book a conference time. If you have already booked a conference your appointment will be changed automatically to online.
Jump Rope for Heart
This Friday, March 7, Cedarbrae students will be jumping ropes for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. All students will meet in the gym from 10:45-11:45 to take part in our school’s Jump Rope for Heart event, to celebrate the completion of our two-week Physical Education unit.
Please consider sending a Loonie or Toonie to school with your child any day this week, as Cedarbrae School would like to make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, upon the completion of our Jump Rope for Heart event.
Commun-i-tea Postponed
We will be postponing our upcoming Commun-i-tea on March 13. Please stay tuned for a new date coming soon.
Attendance
Please inform the school if your child will be absent or arriving late. Please report all absences to the Attendance Line at 403-777-8610. Please be sure to leave your child’s name, homeroom, and reason for absence on each message.
