Dear Cedarbrae Families

We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend enjoying the warmer temperatures. Please remember to dress for the weather and to wear winter boots, or rain boots to school as the playground area can be very wet at recess time due to all the melting snow.

We are excited to be attending the Hitman Be Brave game on Wednesday February 26 for Pink Shirt Day. All students will be given a pink shirt on that day to wear to the game and we look forward to attending to showcase our amazing school community. Please make sure you send your child a snack and lunch as students will not be able to purchase food at this event. A special thank you to the School Council for funding this event and to all our amazing volunteers. We ask that volunteers please arrive by 8:50 on Wednesday morning. If your child is not planning to attend the game, please let your child's homeroom teacher know as we are going as a whole school and there will be no regular classes for students in grade 1-6.

Jump Rope for Heart

We kicked off our Jump Rope for Heart Campaign this week. Our Grade 7 students will be collecting “toonies” starting this week. Please see the flyer for more information.
