Dear Cedarbrae Families
We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! It is a short week at Cedarbrae as we have an extra long family day long weekend ahead. A reminder that there is no school Thursday and Friday for Teachers Convention and Monday is the Family Day holiday.
By now you should have had time to view your child report card in the MyCBE app. Please save a copy of your child report card as they are only available for viewing for a short time and need to saved if you would like to retain a copy. For families of students who have an IPP a reminder to please send back signature pages to classroom teacher and to reach out should you have any questions.
We are excited to continue our learning journey with students in term 2. Teachers have been working on setting term two goals with students and creating students friendly I can statement for students to self-assess their learning and understand next steps to support their growth.
Please check you child's backpack for fundraising information related to our School Council Little Caesar's Fundraiser. A separate email was sent home with all the information for this fundraiser. As an incentive the school council will be providing a prize to the classroom who sells the most kits and top-selling prizes. As this is such a popular fundraiser, we also have a school goal to sell 100 kits. If our goal is reached Ms. Leanne and Ms. Marissa will give students an opportunity to play a joke on us at an assembly.
Painting at Cedarbrae
Painting is well underway at Cedarbrae School. The main hallway and office have been completed, and the gym is being completed this week. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact the office.
Kindergarten Registration is Open
Kindergarten registration is open. We are excited to welcome our new kindergarten students next year.

Attendance
Please inform the school if your child will be absent or arriving late. Please report all absences to the Attendance Line at 403-777-8610. Please be sure to leave your child’s name, homeroom, and reason for absence on each message.
