Dear Cedarbrae Families
We hope everyone had a great start to the week and are gearing up for a restful winter break!
Thank you to all the families who attended our winter concert on Thursday evening. It was wonderful to see everyone together and to celebrate our students' learning and the work of our staff team. We were so proud of all our students and shared in the excitement as they got ready for their performances.
There will be no shortage of “spirit” this week as students participate in our spirit days and come to school dressed in their festive gear. Please see below for the list of themes.
Each classroom will be learning about the Winter Solstice this week and its significance to Indigenous cultures. Teachers will be sharing a variety of books with their classrooms and completing a snowflake art piece with students.
As 2024 comes to an end we would like to thank all our families for their continued support and look forward to a wonderful 2025 full of growth and new learning together.

Caroling
Thursday and Friday (Dec. 19 and 20) we will meet in the gym at 9:45 to do some caroling before recess.

Attendance
Please inform the school if your child will be absent or arriving late. Please report all absences to the Attendance Line at 403-777-8610. Please be sure to leave your child’s name, homeroom, and reason for absence on each message.
