Dear Cedarbrae Families 

We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Today was a busy day at Cedarbrae School as students participated in round dance teachings with Kyle Snow and Gina Onespot. Students got a chance to learn about and participate with their classmates in a round dance and some Indigenous language teachings.  Please ask your child about this amazing experience.  

Some questions to guide 

  • In what direction does a round dance move? Why? 
  • What is the potato dance? How do you communicate with your partner during this dance? 
  • In what season is a round dance held? 

Moving Next Year 

It's hard to believe we are coming up to the end of the year and are already in the process of planning for the 2025-2026  school year. Please let the office know of you are moving and will not be attending Cedarbrae school next year.   

Attendance  

Please inform the school if your child will be absent or arriving late. Please report all absences to the Attendance Line at 403-777-8610. Please be sure to leave your child’s name, homeroom, and reason for absence on each message.
